On the last 8th of May 2020, our partners have participated in the annual EGU General Assembly 2020, considered as Europe's largest and most prominent geosciences event.
The EGU General Assembly 2020 brought together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. The EGU aimed to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.
Our partners from DLR presented at the session “Spatio-temporal data science: theoretical advances and applications in computational geosciences”, with the topic of “Data Fusion on the CANDELA Cloud Platform”. The presentation demonstrated how WP2 data fusion module runs on the CANDELA cloud platform.
The session has been organized as a live, text-based chat. Our presentation took about 7 minutes, which included also two questions from the audience. Based on the comments, we will make further validation and improvements for the data fusion tool.
